About
I am a highly-motivated and award-winning designer and developer with a passion for user experience. I draw inspiration from many tangible and digital experiences to create intuitive and immersive interfaces for the user. I am a problem-solver to my very core and am enthusiastic about new technologies and the future of the web.
I read blogs and non-fiction voraciously, and I’m generally inquisitive and curious about the world around me. I have an impressive ability to quickly absorb and digest information about a wide range of topics including design, development, usability, economics, marketing, politics, and the environment to name a few. I love to apply and share this knowledge with others who are equally as driven by the desire to innovate and effect change.
I’m also a musician, hence my perpetual quest to discover new music because I love how it inspires me. My other influences include film, art, nature, and above all, people. I think that empathy is one of the most important assets that we can have in this field and I aspire to advance this ability on a daily basis.
This is my first endeavor into the blogosphere as a writer, and I have lots to learn and I’d love to hear any comments or critiques of what I put out there.

I’m an 1989 graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia and I’ve been a print designer for 20 years and we all know that print is slowly dying. I am searching the web trying to get a clue about interactive web design and I came across your name on a blog and checked out your portfolio and blog. They are very inspiring. Could you were give me some advice on updating my skills? If I were to go take some classes, which ones would you suggest?
